baby fever

First a confession.
I am kind of starting to freak out. Not a huge freak out, but big enough that I have decided it's time to act.

Our baby is due in 10 weeks. Also since both of my kids were born before my due date that makes it even less time until she will most likely arrive. I am thrilled to see her, hold and cuddle her. Definably excited to NOT be pregnant. But as usual I am not ready.

After Morgan was born we pretty much decided we were done having kids. So I didn't save any clothes-gave them all to my sister for her girls. Thankfully I did keep the big things like crib, high chair, play pen, etc. I have started compiling a list of all of the stuff we need and the list is HUGE! We decided it was best to wait until after Christmas before buying all of the stuff we need. I am so grateful to friends and a great sister-in-law for some great hand-me-downs, so my preparation doesn't look as small.

So anyway, on Saturday we did a little shopping for our baby girl. Morgan and I picked out a few outfits, a bathtub, bouncer and a diaper bag. Later that night Petyon came over to hang out for a while. The girls had so much fun with the baby stuff. Morgan got out a few dolls, they dressed them in the new clothes, put them in the bouncer or bathtub and had a good time being mommies. Peyton also really enjoyed laying in the tub herself. She would lay back, cross her legs at the ankles and put her hands behind her head. It was so cute!

So anyway, I will be fine just need to keep taking deep breaths and go shopping a little more frequently.
