The graduate

Yesterday Morgan graduated from Kindergarten! Boy she is growing up so fast. She memorized not only her part, but nearly every line of the entire program. Morgan would say a few lines and then tell me whose part it was so I was really familiar with the entire program last night. It was very cute and the songs were great too.

I made Morgan a candy lei for the special occasion. She kept asking how I made it and said she thought it was really hard for me to make and that it took me a lot of time. I think for a few minutes I was her hero!

Maylee's blessing

On Saturday we did Maylee's blessing. It was very nice and turned out well. We decided to do it on a Saturday because of a few reasons, but mostly because of how large our families are and having a meal after at our house would be too much.

Maylee looked beautiful and was happy and smiling all morning.
That is until it was time for the blessing to start. Then she started crying. The bishop said that we could try and soothe her since we weren't in any hurry. As soon as I held her she stopped crying and the bishop suggested that I just hold her through out the blessing as that is acceptable. So I stood in the middle of the circle and held Maylee. It was a pretty amazing feeling-the spirit was very strong and the blessing was beautiful.

After we had brunch and got to visit with our family and friends. It was a great day!

Up to date Updates!

Well I have spent the past 9 weeks at home on maternity leave and it was hard to blog very often. Maylee kept me busy and I really enjoyed it. Today I am back to work and I have a little more time on my hands so I will be posting more frequently and I am going to play catch up for a while, which is why I have a lot of posts with a lot of pictures!

Koby lately

Koby has two weeks of school left-then he will be headed for 8th grade! He is doing very well in school. Last week he played the cello with his orchestra class at UVU for a music festival-his group received the highest score you could get from the judge. They sounded great but the pictures didn't turn out. BOO!

Koby loves his new little sister and is very protective of her.

He is getting so tall that soon he will tower over all of us!

Papa lets him drive all over the farm-he is a pretty good driver.

His voice is getting deeper and his muscles are getting bigger. He has really grown a lot this past school year. Love you Koby!

Morgan lately

Morgan has one week of kindergarten left! I can't believe how much she has learned in just a year. She has really grown up too. She loves being a big sister and is a huge help.
She is always smiling!

Morgan has decided it's time to get rid of the training wheels on her bike. She is still learning (the rain is deterring things) but will soon be a pro!

Maylee lately

Maylee is so much fun! We all love trying to get her to smile. And it's such a beautiful smile!

The most commonly asked question I get about her is if she sleeps through the night-of course not! She is only two months old and I am not lucky enough to get one of those babies that sleep through the night right from the start. She wakes up 2-3 times a night, I feed, burp and change her and she is back to sleep.

She really is a great baby and we love having her in our family.

Easter

This year we spent Easter at my parents house. My sister, Jen and her family came from California. My kids were so excited to see them-Morgan and Makayla were inseparable. We had a great time. I handed the camera to Steve and later to Koby and told them to take a lot of pictures-and they did!

Eggs

We took family pictures too.
