On Saturday we did Maylee's blessing.It was very nice and turned out well. We decided to do it on a Saturday because of a few reasons, but mostly because of how large our families are and having a meal after at our house would be too much.
Maylee looked beautiful and was happy and smiling all morning.
That is until it was time for the blessing to start. Then she started crying. The bishop said that we could try and soothe her since we weren't in any hurry. As soon as I held her she stopped crying and the bishop suggested that I just hold her through out the blessing as that is acceptable. So I stood in the middle of the circle and held Maylee. It was a pretty amazing feeling-the spirit was very strong and the blessing was beautiful. After we had brunch and got to visit with our family and friends. It was a great day!
