Zabriskie reunion

Last weekend we had Steve's family reunion at a nice cabin in the mountains. It was so beautiful. Very few pictures from the weekend, I have finally realized that breast feeding has taken a toll on my picture taking. In order to have a bit of privacy while nursing Maylee I would sit out on the upper porch, the view was incredible! By far it was better than when I sit in my old office at work pumping, looking at bare white walls-but needless to say I usually don't carry the camera to either place. Ok to get off that tangent-we had a great time visiting with the family. All of Steve's siblings except one were able to make it, plus their families, Steve's dad and Aunt and uncle.

The kids told me that their favorite part was spending the day at the lake (I did get some pictures of that)! We had a couple of boats and a very nice family that was there let some of the older kids use his kayak. Maylee and I hung out in the shade, protecting the food and avoiding sunburn.

More of the lake

Morgan also loved the evenings when Aunt Jody would blast the music and everyone would dance. I really missed out on some blackmail opportunities! We had a talent show one evening-Steve and Morgan sang a Rob Thomas song and I went out on a limb and read a children's book to everyone. Koby decided to hide his talents this weekend-I guess I should have forced him to share something but I decided to avoid that fight. Oh and Maylee's talent was just to be cute and adorable-I think I heard that she was so cute at least a dozen times a day and I have to say that it's easy to agree with that!

Twister

Lately Morgan's favorite game is twister or as she calls it "twist". We bought one at DI a while back but had left it at my parents house-forgetting all about it. Last week while Morgan was visiting we got it out and Morgan had fun-even when no one would actually play it with her. She kept asking people to spin the spinner thing and tell her what to do. My dad even got into the game by having Morgan tied into knots and then having her use extra parts of her body. I think the call here was right foot red, right hand yellow, left foot green and nose-blue.
It looks like a lot fun-you should try it but don't forget to take pictures!

We wii-3 with pictures

Over the weekend we went to visit my parents and both of my brothers and their families were there. We brought our Wii along and got my mom to play for the first time. I don't remember ever seeing my mom play any type of video game-she did pretty good but was no match for Koby. Morgan was grounded at that time so she is not playing but is on hand to offer a lot of advise and help.

Peyton played too-she was pretty good at sword fighting!

Maylee's 4 month stats

Maylee went to the doctor this morning for her 4 month check up-just as we thought she is still pretty small. She weighs 13lbs 10oz-the 40th percentile, and is 23 1/2 inches tall- 20th percentile. I think she is getting her height from her grandmothers.

Pictures of Maylee from last weekend-taken by Koby.

Isn't she beautiful?

Maylee is getting so big! I can't believe that in two more days she will be 4 months old all ready! She loves to be up, looking around and interacting with others. She is such a good baby with a great temperment-Maylee is always smiling-reminds me of her big sister!

Morgan loses her 1st tooth

On Friday Morgan finally lost her first tooth. She had been wiggling it for about two months. On Friday morning she was able to push the tooth almost completely horizontal. Finally while at dinner I was able to just pull it out for her. She was so happy! She started laughing and cheering. For the rest of the weekend she would smile, point to her mouth whenever we ran into someone. The tooth fairy made it to our home and she got 6 quarters!
