Gotta love service!

A while back for Relief society we had a service auction. I looked at all the "services" that were offered and knew immediately what I wanted. So I stock piled all of my points and I outbid everyone and won a photo shoot from my talented neighbor. She is amazing! Because our schedule is pretty crazy it took a little while to coordinate but two weeks ago we were able to get the pictures taken. And then just a couple of days ago Marci gave me a cd with all of the pictures. They turned out so great. She ended up giving us over 440 pictures! She was so patient with my kids too. I know how hard it is to get all three of them looking the same directions and smiling. She edited over 30 for us and there are even more that I love that are unedited. I feel kinda guilty for getting it all for free and the only service I offered was free babysitting and I still haven't done it yet! (although I have offered multiple times!) So I am going to share several of my favorite pictures here but just know there are way more that I couldn't share.

My kids are gorgeous!

Birthday girl

On Friday our little Miss. Maylee turned 1!

Yes, it has already been a year and it has definitely gone fast.

We had a fun little celebration at home with our own little family. We have a family tradition that when our baby turns one we do handmade gifts, at that age the baby usually doesn't need anything and they are too young to tell you what they want. So we each created our own little gift for Maylee. Steve painted this cute little stool for her. Sorry that you can't see the picture very well, she loves to sit on it. Koby painted this letter M for us to hang up in her room (since she shares a room with Morgan it works well that the girls have the same initials!), Morgan made a picture frame and I made her a little photo album.

She was really loving all of the attention, the balloons, presents, and cake. She was so cute opening her presents-she would rip a little piece of paper off and give it to Morgan. I also loved seeing her little tongue stick out while she concentrates so hard on opening the gifts.

She had a great time eating her cake too!

Yesterday I took Maylee to the doctor for her 1 yr check up. She is 27 3/4 inches long, weighs 19 lbs 8 oz. Her weight is in the 20% and her height is in the 10th percentile. She got 2 new teeth over the weekend so in two weeks she got her first three teeth. She is such a sweet fun girl. We adore her!

PS-this is what we get when we tell her to say cheese.

Koby wrestling

Koby is in blue:

Now Koby is in red:

Koby is now wrestling every weekend (again!) and he got 3rd place at the last two tournaments. He sure loves this sport!

M&M party

Last night we went out to dinner to celebrate the girls birthday-we invited family and had a great time.

Maylee was kind of cranky-tired and maybe teething but she was still really good and enjoyed the presents. Morgan loved the attention, the presents and the cake.
