Best Summer Vaca Part 2 (day 3 & 4)

On our second day in Vegas we decided to show the girls what a Vegas buffet was all about. So we ate at the Excalibur buffet and it was pretty yummy! We had some passes for the Siegfried & Roy Secret garden so we set off to check it out after breakfast and clearing out of the hotel. Sadly, it wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. We all felt it was kind of lame-all of the lions and tigers were hot and lazy so we spent a lot of time looking at them just laying around.

We did like the garden at the Bellagio and it was free!

We decided to head to the Rainforrest Cafe for lunch and that was incredibly fun and delicious! We LOVED looking at all of the fish in the aquariums and browsing through the store.

We had some time until Koby's flight arrived so we made a trip to the Las Vegas LDS temple. I had never been there before and thought it was so beautiful and peaceful.

We made it to the airport with lots of time to spare so we hung out and waited for Koby. I tried really hard not to be a worrier but what can I say, it's in my blood! This was Koby's first time flying alone and he did great of course. We made it easy and had him only take a backpack and he flew straight there on a short flight. Boy were we excited to see him! We all raced over to hug him. We got loaded back into the car and headed for Wrightwood. We ate a quick dinner and then settled into a nearly 4 hour drive. We got to the Anderson's home around 10pm and then stayed up really late talking and hanging out.
