My little Maylee bug

Maylee is developing quite a personality. She is the sweetest little girl and so darn adorable. It is crazy to me how some moments she seems "grown up" but I still want to cuddle and snuggle her like she was a newborn. Recently a little boy in our neighborhood was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer-he is a few months older than Maylee. I have been feeling so devastated for the family lately, not that he can't beat this but because he is my baby's age and he has to go through all of these treatments. I am so grateful that Maylee is healthy. We are praying for sweet Derek (we became buds when I was his nursery teacher) but in the meantime I will have to hug my babies closer and appreciate them more.
