So yesterday was the first time this season that both Morgan and Koby had a game on the same day, and at the same time but at different places. After we rushed through dinner Steve took Koby to football and I took Morgan to soccer. As soon as Morgan's game was over we rushed over to the football game-where we got to see the last two minutes of Koby's game. Both kids won, though all the rushing made me feel like I had run a marathon...how do people do it when they have more than two kids?
After we got home, read scriptures, had prayer, baths and teeth brushing done, I was ready to fall into bed. However, I was a good girl and instead went on my 20 minute walk- in the dark (uphill both ways...=))I did that because my mom told me to buck up. Thanks for the pep talk mom!

Soccer (the other football) 09.1
Yesterday Morgan had her first soccer game. She was so adorable! She loved it! Throughout the whole game she never stopped smiling. They play on a small field, have 2-15 minute halfs (or is it halves?) and play four against four. She kicked the ball alot and had a blast.

Yes Morgan is the one with pink capris, pink shin guards and black and pink cleats. Wanna guess what her favorite color is?

Football 09.1
Last night was Koby's first football game of the season. It was a great game-really close the entire game...ok so for 95% of the game it was 0-0 but still it a good game-with lots of good defense and offense by both teams. Then with only a couple of minutes left they scored on a punt return and ended up winning 6-0. Koby did great! He grabbed a lot of flags, did a great job blocking and hiking the ball. He also almost had an interception-but the ball slipped through his fingertips. Ah well...next time. I took several pictures at the game-and in order to not embarass Koby I had to just take them from my seat so some are kindof grainy. Koby is #9.

Six amazing years!
On Saturday Steve and I will be celebrating our 6th anniversary. In many ways it feels like we just got married moments ago but at the same time it's hard to remember what life was like before I was with Steve. I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing man and able to share my life with my best friend! I love you sweetheart! XOXO

Engagement photos...

Answers to the questions you haven't asked (but want to!)
Why does Morgan like to get ready for bed?
A few weeks ago we found this great treasure at a thrift shop-Morgan loves these PJ's because they twirl so well. She has been so excited to get ready for bed because she can put on her pretty pink jamies and twirl. She has a cd from the movie Home on the range that she plays and dances to quite often. Last night she even had all of her babies lined up so they could watch her.
Why is there a tomato plant on your front porch?
We had it in the backyard but our dog ate it. Thankfully once removed from our dog-which reminds me of a goat since it eats anything and everything-it was able to regrow and we actually have some pretty good sized tomatoes-much to Steve's absolute delight!

Why are there no pictures of Koby in this blog post? Do you like Morgan more than Koby?
NO! Ofcourse I love my children both equally. Morgan just always tells me to take a picture of her doing this and that. When I have the camera out Koby tends to disappear or cover his face. Besides that Koby spent the past few days at my parents house helping on the farm. Papa (my dad) and Rick (my brother) took him out shooting. Apparently Koby is a pretty sharp shooter with the 22. That is just a little bit scary to me-thankfully the guns stay at Papa's!
Ok so maybe these questions weren't the burning questions you were all dying to ask but hey-if you don't ask you will never learn...so if there is something you want to know-you should just ask!
