Served!
The other day I was showing Morgan a CD of pictures from her first year of life. While looking at this picture:
She said, "I wish Koby still loved me that much."
I almost started crying right then. It seems that the older Morgan gets the more she and Koby fight. They both like to be in charge and hate being told what to do. But back when Morgan was small Koby was so sweet to her. They still have some great moments of getting along great but it's not the same. Both Koby and Morgan are fiercely protective of each other and I know that they really do love each other but they don't show it like they used to.
Anyway I decided to try and encourage more love and peace in our home so we created the service jar. Whenever someone does something nice for another member of the family they get to add a rock or marble to the jar. Once the jar is full we are going to do something fun together as a family.
Since we all have different colors of rocks/marbles the jar is looking pretty as it fills up.

Maylee turns 18 months
We sure love having Maylee as part of our family. She is so sweet and loving. She is smart-she knows so many words and is learning more everyday. She pretty much has everyone of us wrapped around her little finger.
More soccer pics
Morgan is lucky number 7
The only way Koby let me take his picture was by having Peyton take a picture with him.
Love how much these girls love each other!
Peyton has come to a few games with us-she is so good...as long as she has her backpack full of snacks! She loves to repeat everything that I yell-good thing I don't have a potty mouth.

Last of summer fun
I can't believe that it's already mid-September. Summer went too fast but we are still enjoying nice warm weather, otter pops and evenings hanging together outside. The other night we had Petyon and Jackson over. We took a fun little drive in the canyon and then came back home and enjoyed otter pops.
*Koby was off at the Springville/Mapleton football game with his friends. (I feel that I have to always explain why Koby isn't in any pictures!)
Weekend visit
We finally got a free weekend, so went to visit gramma and papa. We had such a nice relaxing time. We visited, rode 4 wheelers (ALOT), and just relaxed. Koby and Steve were there too but both seemed to disappear once the camera came out.
Morgan-the super soccer star
The player...
Morgan is quite a good player. She has a great leg and loves to be aggressive. It's really fun to watch her play and see how much she has progressed since she started playing 3 years ago.
The spectators...
(Koby is a real big fan-he is happy to be there-you can totally tell from the look on his face!)
Maylee got really hot so she dumped the water on top of her head.
