Yesterday was pet day at Koby's school and he asked me to bring Georgia, our dog. I got off work early, picked up both Morgan and Georgia and raced to Koby's school. (the racing part is why I didn't get any pictures.) There were many pets there-a horse, rabbit, rats, lots of dogs and cats. Morgan had a blast checking out every animal but after seeing each one she would declare that she needed that animal.
When she saw the girl riding her horse Morgan said, "Look mom, a cowgirl...I mean a cow-horse...I mean...a horse-girl?" I told her she could just call her a cowgirl.
Koby loved showing off his dog and his other pet---his little sister. He walked Morgan around to check out some of the animals. Is there any pet better than a younger sibling? I think not!

Post 100
I recently noticed that this post will be #100. I really wanted to make it spectacular but really my life isn't that spectacular so I will just write another everyday post, rather than waiting months to post something great.
Things are going well for us. The weather has been so nice, we are really enjoying our time outside.
Koby started his baseball games this week. The team has been practicing for 1.5 months so it's nice to finally see a game. They lost their first game-pretty bad but Koby said he had fun so that is what is important.
Last night Morgan and I planted some tomatoes and a raspberry bush. I know it's late but oh well, atleast we did that much! I am hoping that our dog will leave the plants alone and that we will get some fruit off of both.
Last weekend I went with the Zabriskie girls on an overnighter to Wendover. We had a lot of fun even if I didn't win a dime in my first experience with gambling. It was fun just being together. Steve told me that it's so hard when I am not home. Good! I felt valuable for a few minutes. In less than two weeks I am going to Philadelphia for a conference, since we hate for Steve's life to be too hard the kids are going to spend a couple of days with my parents. If any of you drive by my house and see a huge party you will have to tattle on Steve and let me know. =)
Koby has only 5.5 days of school left this year. He is pretty excited to have a break from school. We have so many plans for this summer that I don't think he will have much of a chance to be bored. But then again he is a pre-teen and being bored comes naturally at that age!
Well if you have read this far thanks for sticking around to read my blog for so long. 100 posts!

UVU county fair
Last night we got to go to UVU-where I work for a 'county fair'. We had so much fun. Here are a few pictures. The rafting was Koby's favorite. I think Morgan looks like a princess being rowed across the water. My friend Kris let her son Taylon ride with Koby and Morgan.
Steve and Koby tried out this 'bungee pull'. They had a great time and I had an even better time watching them!
It was a super fun FHE!

Mini-Vaca
We rarely go on huge 2 week long vacations-ok it's actually more than rare-it has never happened! Instead we do mini-vacations...a few days here and there or a long weekend. Last weekend was one of those times. I had to go to a conference for work at St. George so I made Steve and the kids come along for part of the time. While in St. George we spent a lot of time at the pool...I was there and even in a swimming suit, however I respect you all enough that I won't be putting those type of pictures on here.
We went to Brigham Young's Summer home and the St. George temple. The kids were tired and hungry but I got a few good shots where they were actually smiling. And the funniest part is that they had a great time-they just didn't express that with a smile!
After a short amount of time in the hot city of St. George-and I mean HOT literally, we went to Cedar City to visit my sister and her family for the rest of the weekend. We had so much fun with them. Koby and Morgan were with my three nieces constantly. We played kickball, went to the park, went on a bike ride/walk, went to Makayla's kindergarten graduation and let the kids play in the water.
As a funny side note...at the memorial park there was statues and the kids kept asking to have their pictures taken with each one-one spot did not have any statues so Jen suggested that the kids pose as if they were statues.
It's nice to be home but we did have a great mini-vaca!

New haircut
This is Koby's new haircut...isn't he just so handsome!?! I know that he looks a bit drugged but he isn't! It is just Monday morning and he wants to go back to bed!
Morgan had to get in on the picture action too. I don't know how anyone can have such clear huge blue eyes on a Monday morning but our Morgan can. She didn't get the 'early morning person' gene from me!
